Our Mission 

North Trauma and Resource Center's mission is to provide personalized, high-quality treatment and care on an as-needed or preventative basis. The mission of the center is also to help individuals, professionals, couples, families and communities that have been impacted by trauma and adversity to restore a sense of safety and empowerment in the world.

 

Our Vision

We are a full-service clinical practice of dedicated, experienced clinicians who believe in working with our clients  to maintain and improve their mental health and well-being. We work together to serve you and your loved ones in all stages of life. We take a holistic approach with attention to mind, body, emotion and spirit. Our therapists  believe in providing comprehensive health care services to our clients in a friendly, respectful, warm and relaxed clinical atmosphere. We also believe in supporting and educating our clients about relationships, relational stress, anger, sadness, attachment injuries, stress, trauma and PTSD. We work with clients to achieve the best emotional, psychological and physical health themselves and in their relationships.

Clinicians 
The clinicians at North Trauma and Resource Center have Doctorate Degrees or Master's Degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work or Counselling or Psychology. We all belong to a professional association, the American Associates of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), the Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW), the Manitoba College of Social Workers (MCSW), the Psychological Association of Manitoba (PAM) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and adhere to that association's code of ethics.
